Winning Spirit is a meditation on the empty pursuit of achievement. We all know the feeling: the endless rat race treadmill towards "success". What award, promotion or milestone are you chasing? This sculptural light serves as commentary on the empty pursuit of trophies just like these where a weightlifter, arm wrestlers and a runner embody the challenges of modern living. The hollow, translucent forms suggest that in a world where “winners” take nothing of true substance, genuine fulfillment and light comes from within.
